Peyia is a small town in the Paphos District of Cyprus situated on the slopes of the coastal hills, inland from Coral Bay at the southern end of the Akamas Peninsula. It lies just 14 km northwest of Paphos. The Peyia area is popular with British residents but still retains a nice mix of cultures but still reflects the traditional Cypriot way of life. And don't forget, Cyprus offers the comforts of driving on the left of the road and the same plug sockets as the UK.
Cyprus is renowned for its glorious year-round weather which varies between 18 to 31 degrees centigrade, so you may choose summer for sunbathing and water sport or the cooler months for sightseeing and exploring. Whatever your preference, Villa Katoe is an ideal base. However, you may just want to sit, relax or swim in the courtyard pool which is very family-friendly and can be seen from the main villa rooms.

Places to go around villa katoe and cyprus
Even with everything you’d need on your doorstep, we would well recommend venturing further. The lively resort of Coral Bay is just a 5-minute drive away. This lively seaside town on Cyprus’ west coast is nestled among banana plantations and vineyards. Its long main strip runs through the town centre and offers an amazing choice of old-world eateries, bars and late-night dancing.
By day, Coral Bay boasts clear sandy beaches with shallow turquoise waters making swimming super-safe on this blue flag beach. It’s equipped with sunbeds, parasols, showers, toilets and 2 bars serving drinks and snacks. Coralia beach is also nearby and offers sunbeds, water sports and Mediterranean restaurants.
Many visitors take a daytrip trip to Paphos Town, just a 15-minute drive away. Here you will find mosaics dating back 2,000 years at Paphos Archaeological Park. Just a short stroll away there is Paphos Castle, a Byzantine structure right on the water which you can walk around. You’ve also got the fascinating Tomb of Kings to see. There is the Tomb of Kings Mall which is a great shopping destination. By night you can saunter down Agiou Antoniou Street and drop into one of the quieter tavernas for a glass of Keo beer.
To add to this, there is a vast range of fun activities ideal for all the family from Adonis Bath Waterfalls, Aphrodite Rock, Sea Caves and fishing Port of Agios Georgios Peyias, Aphrodites Water Park and many more.
